Stroker knocked off the threat of a 4th Helmet win by taking Atlanta. He was the fastest all week in practice & backed it up with a huge fight for the win in the "Chicken Pit" # 31 ride! Helmet fought him hard to the finish in what was described by others as a classic finish. Way to go Stroker & congrats on giving the rest of us some hope that we can all make it to the podium! Now, off to Bristol with a fixed set up for some door bangin', helmet throwing, kickin & shovin, short track racing in the BIG cereal bowl!

Helmet cruises to the trifecta with a BIG Win at Vegas.! Helmet turned in another huge run in the first fixed race set up run of the season. The field was 12 cars at the outset with Jay & David Colyer leaving mid race with suspension damage. 10 Drivers finished all 95 laps and the top 5 were Helmet, Stroker, Bert, RMW, & Boss. On to Atlanta and back to normal open sets as we head to the fastest Tri-oval on the circuit to see if anyone can knock Helmet off the number 1 spot on the podium

2 Rides, 2 Races, 2 Wins!!!!! Helmet has jumped to a quick points lead in the 2010 Nastrack season with his second win by taking California by storm! The 14 car field was set after Brad Pearsall embarassed the field with a monster Q time of 38.082 but later, unfortunately fell victim to the internet ghosts ending his night.
5 drivers in all would fall out through the race with DNF's. RMW gave the only challenge late in the race but would come up short by just under 1 second at the checkers.Boss,David Colyer, & Stroker would round out the top 5.
The race took 1:34 min 36 sec to run start to finish with the remaining 9 drivers finishing on the lead lap. When interviewed in Victory lane and asked what were the keys to tonight's run Helmet? " The savvy vet just replied "Well I kind of had a burr up my butt because I was outta beer so I figured OK game on and let's get out with a W!"
Maybe with this info, the rest of the field can find a strategy to challenge next week at Las Vegas. This will be the first FIXED set up race, which should prove to be very interesting to say the least!
